THE HOLIDAY SHOW IS COMING!!
The date for the Annual CME Holiday Show is set for Wednesday, December 21st. There are two performance during the day. The first performance is at 8:30 am and the second performance will take place at 1:00 pm. This is a fabulous CME tradition that involves the entire student body!! Doors will open for the 8:30 show at 7:45 and at 12:30 for the 1:00 show.
The show is entitled, "Once On A Housetop" and features our talented sixth graders on stage with the drama portion. Each grade level will perform a song about the different celebrations that take place in the month of December as well as amazing sounds and songs presented by the entire student body! It is sure to be a great show! Our own talented Ms. Harmon is offering her support and is working extremely hard to prepare the sixth grade students while the Music room has been filled with wonderful sounds of the Holiday Season!
Please keep in mind that this is typically a "dress up" event for students! Feel free to dress in the colors of your Holiday Celebration! Please...no jeans, shorts, or sweat pants! It is always so fun to see everyone dressed in their very best for the performance! Festive hats should not be worn during the show. We want to make sure that everyone can be seen during the performance!
While the sixth graders will be in costume, students in K-5 should dress as described below:
Boys: Dress pants or khaki pants with a shirt (preferably one that has a collar). Although ties are not required, boys can absolutely wear one if they would like!
Girls: If you have a fun and festive dress to wear, that would be great! Leggings could be worn if the shirt, skirt, or dress is long enough (hitting the mid-thigh area). Please make sure hair is out of the face!
We look forward to seeing you at one of the performance times for the fabulous show! Please look for an email from Mr. Paugh soon about the schedule involving the show and Holiday parties. This will be an extremely busy, but exciting day for all!
Thank you for your support! As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Peterson via email (email@example.com) or phone (576-3080 x 28).
